Who is Lobby It?

Lobby It was conceived of in the autumn of the year 2000. It came about as a result of irritation anger and frustration of not being able to make our individual complaints and moans, gripes and whinges heard.

Lobby It is dedicated to helping you blow off steam. You can come to Lobby It to rant and rave, gripe and moan, complain and whinge about anything that bothers you.  We also want to find out exactly what it is people think on a number of various issues. At Lobby It we run a number of polls, some from current affairs and some submitted by you. These polls will give an indication of what the public actually think about these issues.

You can use the results from any submitted polls to indicate to the subject of any poll what the public actually think. Polls maybe also used for market research, not just to aid your lobby, you may want to know how many people exercise, and how often, for example.

It is a site for everybody to air their views, whatever their age, sex or race.

How does Lobby It make a difference?

We will host your polls on-line, this will allow you a central place to direct people to.  Read the help in polls in order to make your poll more successful.  You will then be able to contact the subject of the Poll with the results to show them how much public support your poll has.

Visitors to Lobby It will be able to make themselves heard in the Vent Your Spleen area of the site.  The information shared could be a complaint or whinge about something which is bothering you, or some exciting news or positive thoughts which you want to share with the world, it is up to you!  Please make sure that you read the legal issues before venting your spleen.

What else does Lobby It do?

Lobby It is not just about lobbying people with the results of polls.  It is also about allowing our visitors to relieve some of their stress or share their excitement.  Use the Vent Your Spleen area to express you views, complain, moan, whinge, whine, share your concerns, to tell everyone your exciting news or positive thoughts or just to bitch about something.

If you are seething with anger because some lunatic nearly ran you off the road, then vent your spleen.  If you are frustrated because your local supermarket had run out of your favourite cheese then vent your spleen.  Or, if you are so annoyed that you feel that you could explode because you think the government do not have a clue about  certain current issues then vent your spleen again.

Vent your spleen about everything that bothers you, trivial or monumental it wont cost you a penny, and may even make you feel more relaxed to have shared your views with the world. Complain about the weather, moan about the state of education, whinge about your neighbours, gripe about the traffic or rant and rave about anything in the Vent Your Spleen area.
